Hello!
It's been a fantastic week. I have my journal entries and letters home and to president all mixed up in my head. So sometimes I get a bit confused as what to write here. But I will have you all know I am doing great. I am working hard. And I love the work of the Lord. It's been raining a ton a ton here. It's been great!
I've been pondering a lot recently about the things Satan tries to do stop this work. Or to keep missionaries, members, and really all Gods children stopped in their tracks. If he can just fill us with enough doubt, enough uncertainty, enough verguenza, to keep us from taking steps forward he has got us won. He honestly tries to keep us there planted like a tree, to scared to move, or help others to move, by simply convincing us we don't know which way is forward. It's the typical, "Well, who am I to tell others how to live their life?" "What's true for one may not be for the other." Its a tricky switch, and a hard game Satan plays. And it has kept millions from improving the world around them. That said, I don't want to argue that bossing people around is way to go, but a true and sincere invitation to change to experiment, and come closer to Christ is what the whole world needs. I invite you all to find a way to come closer to Christ, and also invite others to do the same. We live in a world of fence sitters who fear man and losing followers more than God. I want to stand for something, in a world of Political correctness. Make a change rather than be the changed. I hope you enjoyed my little sermon. It's a new forming tangent of Elder Gardner, and you have to listen because your family. I love you. Have an amazing week!
Elder Gardner.
