Fact: I spent more time with other companions then with own this week.
Between splits and exchanges, I have forgotten what my companion looks like:) haha. I had the chance to work with a new missionary, and I looooove it. It has become just my favorite thing to work with a servant who is willing ready and wanting to improve. To see them and their potential, and help them to see it and help them achieve it, it is the best thing.
I also had the interesting experience of going solo for a bit. Now, first disclaimer: I did not do this on purpose. But on our trips between cities to do exchanges we drop our companion of and wait while the other is on his way. I just so happened to be the traveling companion, and I also was headed to do a move for a member so I wasn't in proselyting clothing. So alone, non missionary gear... I started a conversation just to see how'd she go with the man next to me.
Fact #2: Shirt and Tie are not required to testify to strangers and leave them with books of mormon. Haha.
But I was so involved in the conversation, that I missed my stop...
Well done Elder.
So I subway surfed my way back to the train station, and felt all sorts of uncomfortable. But in the end I found my companion and piso sweet piso.
Fact#3: P got baptized! Yaaaaaaay!
What a miracle. The best part was honestly though the day following when she received the gift of the Holy Ghost. She just was shining. She was learning and and happy.
Well, last week i invited you all to pray for ministering opportunities. And well, lets be honest her, those that read this are few. They are fuertes but few:) but that being the case I would love to
A- hear if you had the chance to pray for such experiences
B- hear about any miracles you saw thanks to such prayers.
Hope you all have a fantastic week. I know this work is Gods work.
We are gathering the tribes of Israel. I invite you to play your part, and magnify your calling. I love you.
