Thankful to be a Participant

Wow incredible incredible week full of miracles. I love this work!

First and foremost, I'll talk about P.

P is an amazing amazing women who has been meeting with us for a couple months now. I think that she probably loves God more than any other woman I have met. She was having the biggest difficulty with the fact that she had already been baptized in another church, she really felt that she had already given her heart to the Lord. It has been a difficult difficult challenge impeding her progress. She even understood the authority and the need of it in the kingdom of God, but she just couldn't see how God would condemn her when she knew that He knows that she was sincere in her baptism.

I... had about turned in my missionary jersey and name tag. We had used object lessons, great scriptures, videos, and just "all you've got" power testimonies, and wowzers she and her brother couldn't accept it.

Fun fact though, its not just me and my companion that were rooting for her.

We this last week came to their home, and we didn't know what to do. We had honestly given up. We just decided to watch a movie, hope God would little by little work with these children of his. We ended the movie with our testimonies, and knelt to say a prayer. Not one word about baptism.

Elder lozano said a short and simple prayer. We sat for a moment in silence. We then stood to leave, and we then looked at P...

She remained kneeling, eyes watering up. She said, "hermanos, I can't lie, I must be honest..." "I have felt the Lord, and I know I must be baptized."

Ok fine Heavenly Father... haha you win. Haha He had to make sure that I knew that this was his work not mine. I am thankful to be a participant in his great kingdom.
