Wow. This is one of those weeks that I will never forget. Elder Lozano, my companion is one of the most spiritually mature people I have ever met. He is meek, thoughtful, and more than anything actively loving.
Some incredible miracles this week. Its quite amazing what the Lord will do with you, if you have the faith to find. We set a goal now every time we hit our knees before we leave, how many people we will find and with faith we seek them out. I love it, and it works.
We had an hour and we said another prayer of faith, and set out to find the Elegido ( the chosen). We chose a metro stop: Clot.
Upon arriving we contacted a women with a dog, and followed her around town for a hot minute and then left her with a pamphlet and a card. The following contact we spoke with a man, and followed once more through town, (😂these people just won't stop.) And then he went to go into a restaurant.....FULL SEND! we went into the restaurant and sat with him as he waited for his food. And turns out, guess what, he was an ex-misionary! A long time less-active missionary from peru. We were able to very lovingly, boldly invite him to come back to the Redil (the fold). We walked him home, and at his door, guess who comes scootering down the street? The secretary of the ward. Haha he was able to offer with us a prayer for this lost sheep, and the most amazing part, was after we said Amen, there was a short pause, and he stated simply, "... wow.. lo puedo sentir." (I can feel it) He was really happy to see us, and we are really excited to see him again this Sunday. I love this work.
I also had the chance to talk with some Americans, from California. It was great, all were our age, and we had the chance to just testify about the reality of God, and the difference He's had in our lives. I love love loved it!
Well, I had a nightmare that I had gone home. I was in my house playing the wii. I wanted to scream... There are just so many things I still want to learn, need to change, and I love this. The Lord has given me an huge opportunity to learn to minister like my companion. He is incredible, he was a branch president, and you can tell he has developed some truly incredible spiritual strengths here.
I love this work, and like our ex missionary friend "lo puedo sentir."
