Bon Día! (Catalán por Good day)

Wahoo! I have made it to Cataluña. Sorry for all the preparation day confusion. Ha,ha this is my first preparation day since getting here. Its been kinda crazy.

Wow, Elder Hamson is incredible. Our relationship reminds me a lot of Gastón from beauty and the beast and his strange little henchman friend. He's incredibly athletic, knowledgeable with the scriptures, contacts with confidence, and I am always there following him around getting excited about everything he does. "Wow you got that one Gaston!.."

We live a rocks throw away from the Sagrada Familia, it was spectacular the first 50 times I've seen it, ha ha still nice, but it also is a HUGE reminder of the need of a restored perfect gospel.

Woot get pumped.

Barcelona is a lot a lot bigger than the cute little Murcia I left behind. We take a ton a ton of metros. I'm becoming a master metro contact-er. Its like street contacting but level 2. You have a time limit and everyone is watching. There are soo many people as well. The potential here is endless.

The chapel here is the biggest chapel I have ever seen. Its has 3 floors and parking as well. It supposedly once was a movie theater. We had a Christmas ward party, a real one where the members do absolutely everything, and the food is great, and references just appear out of nowhere. Up to this point its been Elder Gardner faking it all without a microphone and food from a nearby super market. (Still works though;)) Ha,ha I was blown away. The entire ward here are straight from Peru my Second Favorite country ever. (God bless America.) And I've had ceviche and papas con salsa huancaina just like my time in peru. I am loving it!!!

We met a girl named Monica contacting and we presented her with a book of Mormon the following day. We met again this last week and she brought the book, she began apologizing, "Es que solo he llegado a 134..." She had read up until Jacob, what!? Ha,ha she explained she'd like to come to church. What a great day to be a missionary.

I think we are heading to a Barcelona FC match tonight, very excited. Wish my boy Trevor was here. Haha.

We had zone conference, president continues to blow me away. I want to be just like him when I grow up. Haha, he is full of hope, energy and love. He taught hope the gospel of Jesus Christ the very one we teach applies to each of us. I loved it. I hope you all are enjoying this wonderful time of the year. I love Christmas. Get involved in this great work to light the world, and feel the love of your savior.

I love you and miss you,

Elder Gardner
