It's a New and Higher Work

Como esta?

Another great week, I think the most wonderful part had to have been seeing our wonderful friends S, and J luis receive the priesthood. It was incredible to think about their future within the church and serving the members within the ward. S actually yesterday, it blew me away, he acted. He is so humble. We had a lesson about looking for those that are not here in their seats in church. He that very moment went out into the hall, and called some of the very few people he knew from the ward to invite them to church or find out why they hadn't come. I can already tell the Lord has immense plans and duties awaiting Sam and his family. I love him.

Elder Calderon continues to inspire teach, and uplift me. Hes one of those friends that you KNOW God intended you to be with. I feel like I've known him for far more than 2 months. I love him. He truly is one of the most loving, driven missionaries I have ever met. I think with the time I've become almost cold, like a little harsh, and what I like to call "bold" but it doesn't make me happy, or positive. He is helping me to change, to repent. I know its not likely but I would love, love to spend another transfer with him.

The district is going well, we really are trying to push to make this IluminarelMundo movement happen, especially with the members. It requires a higher level of conversion honestly to do Member work. Its now not just enough to be a member, one can not convert someone above their own conversion. I have really come to begin to realize too like Christ said, "Forgive them, for they know not what they do." None of the members really know what they're doing haha none of us do! That's only going to change as they too learn as I am what it truly means to be converted.

Its a new and higher work. It demands more from me, really to reach to the barriers of my faith to bring the real conversion the Lord needs from menos activos and even the "activos."

I am learning and as I am learning the more I realize I don't know, jaja, but that's great.

I love you all!
