Thumbs are Handy

Hello all!!!

What a great day to be a missionary!

Well for starters with transfers this last week Elder Hodgman and I are staying! Phew! Blessings.

It's been really funny, we've been working on trying to improve our effectiveness as a companionship, and we've gotten to the point that the elder with the companion with the Phone is just texting and calling people all day, with his nose glued to the screen, and the other companion is just going ham contacting and guiding his companion keeping him from getting killed by Valencia traffic.

Who knew all that texting ability would come in handy. That wasn't in mission prep class:) usually Moms trying desperately to get you off your phone, and here I am again, but this time with a eternal family cause. So yes a little less snapchat, and a little more testifying of Jesus Christ and His gospel, but same little thumbs👍😁👍

Teaching is probably the most challenging thing in the planet. It is a complete miracle that we not only attempt to do so, but in Spanish. The Lord works through the small and simple. I am starting to believe that the most valuable skill in the world is the ability to teach. To transfer an idea to another with complete clarity. What was all that that Jesus Christ did? He was the perfect man, He loved perfectly, and what did He do to love? He taught. I want to be like Jesus.

We are going to see the baptism of our wonderful friend and sister and adopted mother, C; she shows the signs of true contrite spirit, and desire to follow the true gospel of Jesus Christ. It has been the greatest tender mercy to see her and her family transformed by this Gospel.

We were practicing the ordinance last night, and as I might have stated in precious emails, I've been putting on a little weight, and as I took a deep lunge my pants just ripped. Just the most massive hole. She didn't thank heavens realize, but her son and Zone leader did and nearly died laughing. It's only funny because this last week I ripped open one of my shirts, as I was praying... It must be the Colombian food. I'm making the serious gains.
